Privacy Policy for VoDo

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that is essential to provide and improve our service. This information falls into two categories:

a. Information from Google

When you sign up or log in to VoDo using your Google Account, you grant us permission to access specific information. We only access data that is absolutely necessary for VoDo to function:

• Basic Profile Information: Your name, email address, and profile picture. We use this to create and manage your VoDo account and personalize your experience.
• Google Tasks Data: We access your Google Tasks to provide the core functionality of our service. This includes your task lists, individual tasks (including titles, notes, and due dates), and their completion status.

b. Usage Data

We may collect anonymous data about how you interact with our service (e.g., features used, clicks). This data is aggregated and helps us understand user behavior to improve VoDo's functionality and user experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the Service: Our primary use of your Google Tasks data is to display it within the VoDo interface, allow you to manage (create, edit, complete, and delete) your tasks, and sync all changes back to your Google Tasks account in real-time.
• To Manage Your Account: We use your basic profile information to authenticate you, prevent fraud, and communicate with you about your account or service updates.
• To Improve Our Service: We analyze anonymized usage data to identify trends, fix bugs, and develop new features that our users will love.

3. Google API Services User Data Policy

Our use of information received from Google APIs is strictly governed by Google's policies. VoDo accesses the following Google API scopes:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.profile: This allows VoDo to access your basic profile information (name and profile picture) to personalize your experience and identify your account.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/userinfo.email: This allows VoDo to access your email address for account management, authentication, and communication purposes.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks: This allows VoDo to view, edit, create, and delete your tasks. This is essential for the full management functionality of the app.
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks.readonly: Used to display your tasks if full management permission is not required or granted.

Specifically, your Google Tasks data is never used for advertising purposes, sold to third parties, or used for any function outside of the core user-facing features of the VoDo application.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data. We only share your information in the following limited circumstances:

• With Google: We must send data back to Google's servers to keep your tasks synchronized.
• Service Providers: We may use third-party companies for hosting and infrastructure (e.g., cloud servers). These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and do not have permission to use your data for any other purpose.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. This includes:

• Using encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmitted between your device and our servers.
• Storing sensitive information in encrypted format.
• Restricting access to personal data to authorized Fastdev AB personnel only.

Please note that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Your Google Tasks data is primarily stored on Google's servers. We may cache your data temporarily on our secure servers to improve performance, but we do not store it permanently. Your basic account information is retained as long as your VoDo account is active.

You can delete your VoDo account at any time. To do so, please contact us at sales@fastdev.se. Upon deletion, all of your account information will be permanently removed from our systems.

You can also revoke VoDo's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

7. Children's Privacy

Our service is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will take steps to delete it immediately.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
